FEATURES

 

The Eden yacht is a tourist superior class motor yacht with a length of 88.9 feet (25.40 meters), breadth of 21.35 feet (6.10 meters), and draft of 8.61 feet (2.46 meters). A naval steel hull, the Eden is operated by two Detroit diesel motors (6/71 – 180 HP c/u) and has a cruising speed of up to 9 knots. She has a water capacity of 3,000 gallons, fuel capacity of 2,500 gallons, and two 2 KW KOHLER generators (220/110 volt. AC).

 

She has a total capacity 16 passengers with 8 double cabins spread across the upper deck (3 cabins with bunk beds), main deck (1 cabins with double bed), and lower deck (4 cabins with lower beds). Each cabin is equipped with private facilities, including a private bathroom, hot/cold water, and central air conditioning. The common areas include a comfortable dining room, ample social areas, bar, mini library, tv, dvd, complete snorkel equipment (mask, tube, fins), ample sundeck, and a desalination machine.

 

The Eden has a crew of seven members plus one naturalist bilingual guide (English – Spanish) for the tours.

 

Her navigation and safety equipment includes: 24-mile Furuno radar, GPS, compasses, Epirb, VHF radio, and HF radio. These equipment complies with international coast guard regulations.
