M/Y Alia (Luxury)
A luxury motor catamaran, the Alia guarantees smooth sailing in the seas surrounding the Galapagos Islands.
This 16-passenger boat offers travelers a choice of eight-, five-and four-day cruises through the archipelago. The itineraries include snorkeling, kayaking and hiking. After the day’s excursions, relax in the library viewing a movie from the DVD collection, or on the sundeck while enjoying a drink from one of the catamaran’s two bars. You’ll rest well in one of the nine pleasant cabins, eight of which have private balconies. All are equipped with private bathrooms, cold/hot water, air conditioning, safe box and other amenities. Throughout, the Alia is elegantly and tastefully decorated.
The Alia’s eight crew members and bilingual, certified naturalist guide will assure you a safe and informative journey through the Galapagos Islands.
FEATURES
Built in 2017, the Alia is a 105 ft (32 m) luxury motor catamaran with 43 ft (13 m) beam and 5.6 ft (1.70 m) draft. Powered by two 350 HP Cumming motors, she has a cruising speed of 12 knots, water capacity of 2.500 gallons, diesel capacity of 2.500 gallons, and electric power of 110V and 220V.
The Alia can accommodate 16 passengers, 8 members, and 1 bilingual guide. Her main deck has one 205ft² (19m²) double cabin, four 215ft² (20m²) double cabins with private balcony, a dining room, and lounge . Her upper deck has four 172ft² (16m²) double cabins. All cabin areas include their own balconies.
All of her safety and navigation equipment meets / exceeds the international safety standards, with life vests, GPS, sonar, naval radars, fire detection system, and prevention system.
