Island Hopping

Experience the Galapagos Islands on your own terms with one of our Galapagos Island Hopping or Galapagos land based tours packages.  Firstly, what is Galapagos island hopping? The idea is instead of sleeping on a liveaboard cruise boat you sleep in hotels in the different towns on the different inhabited islands of Galapagos. You then do day tours to the uninhabited islands or just visit the local attractions on the island you are staying on whether its Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, or Isabela Island. Once you have done a tour or two on one island you island hop to another and do the same. Below you will see examples.

We also recommend our guests, before or after their liveaboard cruise, to extend their Galapagos explorations by staying in one of the local towns like Puerto Ayora, Villamil, or Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Land based tours are ideal for those who prefer to only sleep on land not on a boat. Galapagos land-based itineraries allow guests to stay at and explore local villages and surrounding areas on the inhabited islands. Furthermore, during this time guests will have the opportunity to interact with wildlife, visit pristine National Park areas, engage in local tours such as tortoise reserve visit, a farm tour, hiking, kayaking, and biking tour while experiencing some of the local culture.
